Gaming – Call of Duty 2
Call of Duty 2 is a very intensive game that is a massive resource hog. Hopefully we will see some benefit to increasing the memory frequency and decreasing memory timings.
The following results were gathered using the following settings:

As you increase the memory frequency and decrease the memory timings, you do see a general improvement in the average frame rate. It’s also interesting to see that the results at 667 MHz and 800 MHz yield essentially identical results.
For those of you surprised by the rather poor results, keep in mind that the above was gathered with the CPU down-clocked to 2800 MHz from 3600 MHz, and the Xtreme Sound 7.1 sound card shares system resources.
