System Performance
The following two tests, PCMark ’05 and ScienceMark 2, are some general tests that attempt to show how the Gigabyte GA-G1975X will perform in everyday activities and computations.
Once again the Gigabyte GA-G1975X comes up slightly slower than the EPoX and Asus. It’s interesting to see the EPoX NF4 motherboard with slower RAM timings beat the G1975X. What is also surprising is the Asus 955X system coming out on top despite being identically configured (timings, frequencies, etc.).
* Memory @ 800MHz, 4-4-4-17-2T. The Gigabyte GA-G1975X and Asus P5WD2 @ 800 MHz, 4-4-4-15-1T.
