Guild Wars – 7900 GT and 7600 GT

Guild Wars is another quality MMORPG from the makers of City of Heroes, only this one is free! Well, you have to buy the game, but still… I have several um, er…friends that are playing this now and it is quite good. Here are the graphics settings we used:
We tested in the opening town where new characters start.
While these scores show the single 7900 GT with a higher performance level, in reality they were about the same as when in SLI mode. Variations in the amount of people online can change the performance somewhat, though the overhead of SLI is surely responsible for it somewhat.
Here with the 7600 GT, the SLI mode makes a noticeable difference when running at 1600×1200.
