Battlefield 2 is one of the first games to come along in quite a while that turned out to really push the current and even following generation gaming hardware. The BFG card has a 3% gain over the reference card thanks to the 100 FPS lock in the BF2 engine by default. Because of that same limitation the SLI configuration only sees a 6.6% gain over the single card in average frame rate. However, looking at the minimum frame rate level, the SLI configuration is 32% faster.
