“The AN8 32X is ABIT’s latest addition to their Athlon64 socket 939 based motherboard product line. The board uses the NVIDIA nForce4 SLI x16 chipset, with built-in support for the entire Athlon64 socket 939 processor line, DDR type SDRAM modules operating in Dual Channel mode up to speeds of 400MHz officially, and PCI Express x16 based video cards operating in single card or dual card SLI mode. The AN8 32x is feature complete, requiring a minimal amount of components for a working system including: Athlon64 socket 939 based CPU, DDR memory, PCI Express video card, drives, and PSU. ABIT chose to integrate the following components in to the AN8 32X’s design: 2 IDE ATA-133 and 6 SATA II ports (RAID 0, 1, and 0+1 capable across all ports); 10 USB 2.0 capable ports (4 in rear panel, and 3 onboard headers supporting 2 ports each); 1 GigABIT Ethernet port in the rear panel; Realtek ALC850 8-channel AC’97 audio CODEC supporting S/PDIF Optical input/output ports; and PS/2 port support.”Here are some more Motherboard articles from around the web:
