PCMark, from the makers of the 3DMark series, tests various aspects of the system and reports the results back in a normalized score.
World Bench 5
World Bench runs the system through a series of real world benchmarking scenarios from video editing to multitasking. We’ll be looking at the individual scores on the coming pages.
PCMark05 shows that general system performance between the AM2 and S939 systems is pretty close; WorldBench reports the same. The FX-62 is still the top performer though thanks to its 400 MHz faster clock than the 4800+ processor.
