Hot on the heels of Alienware’s announcement of a 19″ SLI notebook two days ago, Japanese laptop manufacturer PC-Koubo is launching a 19″ GeForce Go 7800 GTX SLI unit. It comes loaded with a 100GB 7200RPM HDD, 1GB of RAM, and a Turion MT40. Akihabara News has additional details as well as some pictures.
Also, Engadget has a hands-on preview of a concept Dell XPS mobile PC. It reminds me a bit of the “portable” PCs marketed in the 1980s. It weighs a whopping 18 pounds, and boasts a 20″ display and a full-sized keyboard. Check out Engadget for the pretty pictures of it opened and collapsed.
