HD Gaming – FEAR, CoD2 and Lost Coast
FEAR at 2048×1536 is enough to bring all three single cards to their knees, as none of the configurations is playable here at this resolution. In SLI mode with a pair of 7900 GTs, the game plays pretty well, as we see a 75% average frame rate increase.
Call of Duty 2 is just screaming for memory here, and not even SLI can save it from being run over by the 512 MB on the ATI X1800 XT.
Lost Coast also sees a big performance lead from the ATI card though the SLI platform does out perform everything.
