Leecho’s newest case mod at MODTHEBOX is a monster … literally.  Already with a frightening facade, and a backbone … he adds gull-wing doors.  Check out the pictures of this almost completed mod.
“In the beginning I was planning to hinge the panels from the top and have them open like gull-wing doors on an expensive sports car. This would also require lots of open space on the desk to complete the upward swing. I had thought of using pistons, but could not find ones small enough, but at the same time strong. The panels stay in a closed position via magnetic strips, vinyl tape-like with adhesive backing.”
