ScienceMark 2.0 Memory
The ScienceMark 2.0 suite has its own memory benchmark that reports back cache memory speeds and system memory speeds. We are only going to look at system memory here.
Everest Ultimate Edition 2006
Everest, formerly known to the world as AIDA32, has gone commercial and taken their memory benchmark with them. There tests are similar to SiSoft’s and ScienceMark’s in that they stress the system via synthetic means to find the highest possible speeds. Here we have done both Read and Write speed tests as well as the copy memory test.
The nForce 590 SLI chipset has just a slightly lead in our memory benchmarks, indicating that the BIOS has some tight timings on the Foxconn board that ATI hasn’t set. NVIDIA has definitely tweaked these boards to the limit.
