CineBench 9.5
This new addition to the CineBench testing program updates the code to run in 64-bit mode if the user desires. We are still using the 32-bit Windows here, so not a lot has changed though scores between versions are not comparable.
3D Studio Max 5.1
In both DirectX and OpenGL flavors, this World Bench test goes through a basic 3D editing session and renders the images as well.
SPECviewperf 8.01
This benchmark has been a standard for quite a while in the workstation world and the 8th iteration of it includes newer applications and simulation models.
These two 3D Studio Max tests are where the ATI AM2 motherboard would not complete, and thus brought down our overall score unnecessarily. NVIDIA’s chipset does seem to have its first noticeable lead in our SPECviewperf test suite.
