This new addition to the CineBench testing program updates the code to run in 64-bit mode if the user desires. We are still using the 32-bit Windows here, so not a lot has changed though scores between versions are not comparable.
3D Studio Max 5.1
In both DirectX and OpenGL flavors, this World Bench test goes through a basic 3D editing session and renders the images as well.

This benchmark has been a standard for quite a while in the workstation world and the 8th iteration of it includes newer applications and simulation models.
Wow, another complete sweep of the benchmarks for the Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 over the best that AMD has to offer. The gaps are variable in size, some nearly ties, but there is no doubting the power that Conroe is bringing to desktop systems and even to the workstation enviroment with results like this.
