Network Interface Tests
Our network tests use the ntttcp application distributed by Microsoft for testing network controller’s efficiency. The program creates a number of threads from a server machine to spit data at the test machine at up to Gigabit speeds. Both maximum throughput and CPU utilization are tested.

On our networking subsystem tests, the Asus N4L-VM DH motherboard performs very well as the on-board Gigabit networking controller is able to nearly get to its theoretical peak performance while using less CPU time than the X2 processor on the NVIDIA chipset motherboard.
