So the Asus W7J plays older games fine, but what about newer DirectX 9.0 titles? Let’s turn our attention now to The Elderscrolls 4: Oblivion, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter, and Call of Duty 2.

Unfortunately at the default graphics settings for Oblivion, the W7J does not play the game very well. You may be able to turn off a lot of the graphical features and get 10 more frames per second. There are a lot of adjustments in Oblivion to try, so there is potential for the Go 7400.

The same story applies to Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter and Call of Duty 2, the GeForce Go 7400 is not designed for the latest graphically intensive games which use shaders extensively.
