As Jake mentioned above that the power components would get hotter when water cooling, this is exactly what I saw. The VRMs on the board were at 250F without any airflow at stock settings with the FX-62. Just wanted to see how long it would run stable like this, I left the board running our CPU and RAM stability testsâ€¦.for 3 days, and it worked perfectly. Certainly this is not something you want to do and I would suggest a little extra airflow around the CPU if your heatsink and fan unit is not doing the trick.
Biostar TForce 550 Motherboard Review
The gang over at HardOCP has reviewed the Biostar motherboard based on the nForce 550 chipset; and they say it makes a decent budget motherboard.
