Floating Point Tests
ScienceMark 2 performs some CPU and memory intensive computations like calculating the orbitals of electrons (Primordia) and measuring the thermodynamic behaviour of molecules (moldyn). Each test is run and an overall score is given.
ScienceMark on the XPS M1710 shows some results similar to the Asus Z96JS, but lacks a jump in Memory and Primordia tests. The M1710 clearly needs an update since it is not showing results on the same scale as the Asus Z96JS.
The T7400 gives the XPS M1710 some good improvement overall in computing values of Pi, but fails again to match the Asus.
*Correction: Chart legend contains a typographical error. The T2600 on the Dell M1710 is a Core Duo CPU, not a “Core 2 Duo”.
will the T7600 works on dell
will the T7600 works on dell xps m1710? and is T7600 better than T7400 or not?
