We ran the standard SiSoft Sandra synthetic memory test.
ScienceMark 2.0 Memory
The ScienceMark 2.0 suite has its own memory benchmark that reports back cache memory speeds and system memory speeds. We are only going to look at system memory here.
Everest Ultimate Edition 2006
Everest, formerly known to the world as AIDA32, has gone commercial and taken their memory benchmark with them. There tests are similar to SiSoft’s and ScienceMark’s in that they stress the system via synthetic means to find the highest possible speeds. Here we have done both Read and Write speed tests as well as the copy memory test.
It is at least obvious in our testing here that the ECS KA3 MVP motherboard was running a bit slower than the MSI K9A in terms of memory performance. The NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI motherboard though still has top marks.
