“When we reviewed Vigor Gaming’s Super Monsoon Active TEC CPU Cooling System last year, we were intrigued by the concept but disappointed by the execution. Peltier cooling, the easy way
The second incarnation of the Vigor Monsoon Active TEC CPU cooler is on the bench at ExtremeTech today. The first version really did not perform as well as they were hoping, but this version shows a lot of improvement. While it is expensive at ~$150, it will be cheaper than setting up a watercooling or phase change system, and much easier.
