Whole System Performance
“System Performance” is a pretty broad heading, but in our case this means a series of tests that measure the performance of various parts of the system in unison. To test how the Asus Lamborghini VX1 works as a whole system, we use PCMark 05 and World Bench to evaluate its effectiveness.
The Asus-Lamborghini VX1 is a speedy performer with strong CPU and memory performance. Graphics again puts the VX1 behind the Radeon X1600 on the Z96J. Overall nothing out of the ordinary.
In the real-world tests in World Bench, the Asus-Lamborghini actually comes up slightly faster in the overall score compared to a similarly configured Asus Z96J. What accounts for this difference is probably the 2GB of dual-channel RAM on the VX1 which improves tasks like Nero and ACDSee significantly.
