3D Modelling Performance
It wasn’t too long ago that doing 3D modeling on a laptop was just a fantasy for the few, but thanks to advances in CPUs and graphics, professionals can now take their modeling work on the road to places previously not possible.
In 3D modelling, our tests show the Asus VX1 falling beind because the video subsystem is not up to snuff to do intensive graphical computations. Compared to the Asus W7J which also uses an NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400, the VX1 is faster thanks to the Core 2 Duo CPU.
