The Pointe du Hoc, D-Day mission is an intense mission that starts with the scaling of the cliffs at Pointe du Hoc on the beaches of Normandy. There is a lot of action on the screen which many video cards struggle with.
Gaming performance on the Asus Lamborghini is what you’ve come to expect from the NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 GPU; the video card is not powerful enough to handle intensive games, even at lower graphic settings. This may disappoint some of you since a name like “Lamborghini” would imply fast performance all around, but sadly this is not the case. If gaming is your major concern, then perhaps getting a Dell XPS M1710 (reviewed here) or a Alienware m9700 with SLI (reviewed here).
3DMark
3DMark is a useful tool in giving a normalized result that could be used to compare different GPUs to each other. Since many of you are familiar with desktop graphics cards, the numbers here will help give you a relative position in terms of performance for these laptops.
Pretty painful performance here for the Asus VX1. This doesn’t mean you wan’t play games, it just means you have to be very selective in your titles and perhaps pick titles publiched in 2005 or earlier.
