Accessories and Weight
The accessories that come with the Asus VX1 is unlike anything I’ve seen come with a laptop before.
Perhaps the most interesting accessory is the included rugged carrying case for the laptop which of course carries the Lamborghini logo on it. The bag includes a laptop sleeve as well which gives you extra protection as well as the option of using just the sleeve instead of taking the whole bag with you.

There is also a BlueTooth laptop mouse manufactured by Logitech and has the same high-gloss finish as the laptop itself. The mouse is also branded to match.

As if all of that weren’t enough, the VX1 also comes with a slick leather mouse pad! It tracks fine with optical mice and makes me wonder why I haven’t see more leather mousepads on the market.

Finally, there is a 48 page book about the history of Lamborghini. It’s a finely finished book printed in full colour and on heavy paper stock.

The rest of the accessories are what you’d typically find with an Asus laptop, phone cable, LCD dust cloth, documentation, and CDs.
Weight
Asus is very clear in advertising the portability of the VX1, in fact they claim the VX1 is lighter than most 14′ laptops, so let’s see if this claim is true.
Well the Asus-Lamborghini isn’t as light as some of the smaller laptops we’ve reviewed in the past, but for a 15.4′ standard XGA laptop it ends up weighing <<weighing less>> than a widescreen unit (like the Z96J above).
The total weight of 5.4 lbs doesn’t make it a light laptop to carry around, but it’s still lighter than your typical 15.4′ widescreen laptop.
