Options and Accessories
Thermaltake offers a number of optional accessories to go with the Mozart Tx home entertainment case.
7′ Bay LCD monitor
The optional 7′ bay monitor can be angled to suit your application and retracts back into the drive bay when not in use. It can be connected to the main system as a secondary display or serve as a primary display for the second Mini ITX system.

Unfortunately the 7′ LCD monitor wasn’t available at the time of our review so we didn’t get to actually play with it. Hopefully it will become available in the near future.
Thermaltake Media Lab

The Media Lab control panel extends HTPC functionality and includes a VFD display, IR remote control, and IMON Manager software. It comes mounted in a 5.25′ bay bracket but when used with the Mozart Tx, it can be mounted behind the dedicated window on the front panel designed just for it.
Media Lab Key Features:
- Multi-functional IR remote control
- Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD)
- Connects through USB interface
- Includes IMON multimedia software
The Media Lab Control Panel and IR Remote Control includes everything needed for installation and easy setup. It is one of the best full featured HTPC display/remotes currently on the market.
Mini ITX Upgrade Kit
The optional Mini ITX Upgrade Kit provides the basic components needed to get the secondary system up and running.
The Mini ITX upgrade kit includes the following items:
- 5.25′ Bay power supply unit (270W)
- 5.25′ Bay unit with Power On-Off, Reset, Power-On LED, and HDD activity LED
- IDE Ribbon cable
- Serial ATA cable
BTX Upgrade Kit
The BTX upgrade kit allows converting the Mozart Tx chassis to the Intel BTX configuration. The kit includes a SRM and BTX backplate. The following two pictures show the ATX configuration on the left and the BTX configuration on the right.
