“AMD demonstrated its “Barcelona” native quad-core processor last week, and now the folks at HKEPC say they’ve managed to lay their hands on a roadmap that details the company’s upcoming quad-core Opteron lineup. The site says upcoming Socket F quad-core Opterons will be split into three categories: low-power Opteron HE models clocked at 1.9GHz and 2.0GHz with a 68W power rating; vanilla Opteron models clocked at 2.1GHz, 2.2GHz, and 2.3GHz with a 95W TDP; and high-power models running at 2.4GHz and 2.5GHz with a 120W TDP.
