Virtual-Hideout reviews Mushkin’s XP2-8500 modules (1066MHz).  The motherboard they used wasn’t able to supply more than 2.4 volts to DDR, so they only managed to push it to 1100MHz @ 5-5-4-12 before seeing instability, but they obviously hadn’t hit the memory’s top speed.
“The IC’s used in this kit are the undisputed kings of “must have” modules: the Micron D9GMH. These Micron IC’s are highly regarded as the best there is in the market and all the best kits out there today currently use these high end IC’s, including those killer PC2-6400 kits that’ll do 1100MHz!”
