Call of Duty 2
Call of Duty 2 (Direct X)
Call of Duty was the best selling FPS of 2003 and Call of Duty 2 looks to continue that tradition with a great game style and superb graphics. Below are the graphical settings we used in our testing.
**Optimize for SLI is enabled in all of our testing!
The first mission was used in its entirety as the benchmark.
Without a frame rate lock, the Call of Duty 2 game shows some impressive SLI benefits. at 1600×1200 the average FPS is 60% faster and the minimum FPS is 58% faster — a very noticeable shift in playability. At 2048×1536, the gains are 65% and 55% respectively and at 2560×1600 the gains are 68% and 80% with two 8800 GTX cards. This is the first time that I can say that playing CoD2 at 2560×1600 is a completely satisifying experience without any frame rate issues or lag.
I’ll keep my consoles but not
I’ll keep my consoles but not bad.
And here we are in 2023 when people complain about RTX 4090 being too expensive, and people in 2006 were buying multiple $650 MSRP cards to run them in SLI to barely reach 100 FPS.
