Gigabyte United, which is a joint venture from Gigabyte and ASUS, have announced the GA-N680SLI-DQ6, a board that natively supports Quad SLI and Core 2 Quad-Core processors.  There isn’t  a lot of information, but you can glean a little more from this Gigabyte press release.
“The board is based around the Nvidia nForce 680i chipset and offers native 1333 FSB support for the latest Intel Core 2 Extreme Quad-Core processors, the company claims. Support for SLI technology is one of the main features of the board which includes two PCI Express x16 connections plus an additional PCI Express x8 connection which, the company says, allows users to add a standalone physics graphics processor for even more graphics performance.”
