General System Performance
Lacking a better placement for benchmark results like this, we’ll first look at how the motherboards compare in overall system performance in both PCMark05 and World Bench 5.
PCMark05
PCMark, from the makers of the 3DMark series, tests various aspects of the system and reports the results back in a normalized score.
World Bench 5
World Bench runs the system through a series of real world benchmarking scenarios from video editing to multitasking. We’ll be looking at the individual scores on the coming pages.
The scores vary a little here. By examining the charts, it appears that the HD was slightly more fragmented on the AW9D-MAX run, causing a slight drop in the HD performance department.
