Today we get more looks at the soon to be released AMD 690 chipset, starting off with Legit Reviews.  They find the reference boards they reviewed perfect for HTPC applications as it is the only chipset that supports simultaneous independent outputs of DVI and HDMI.   The gamers are not going to be impressed by the performance of the IGP but it certainly outperforms the old NVIDIA 430 chipset.
