“Well, quite frankly the results surprised me. I was assuming that the Accelero X2 and the GX815 would be pretty similar, however the GX815 clearly was the winner, and improved temps by 4-5 degrees, which is always welcome. Really the biggest factors when choosing an aftermarket GPU cooler is performance and noise level, this cooler has great performance, and it’s nice and quiet, so it’s definitely going to be a good choice if you’re looking for a good cooler. ”Here are some more Graphics Card articles from around the web:

The little guy wins a fight

The ZEROtherm GX815 Gamer Edition GPU Cooler took BCCHardware by surprise. It is meant to fit most nVIDIA (not 8800s) and ATI cards , in this test it was attached to a X1900GT. When tested against the Arctic Cooling Accelero X2 it performed much better, a full 4 degrees better at full load. Keep your eyes open though, the only drawback is that neither Pricegrabber or Newegg has that particular model listed.
