Kandalf Chassis – Interior View
The spacious interior of the Kandalf LCS chassis has a typical ATX layout with a few added features. The all-aluminum construction in our silver edition is obvious. The Kandalf LCS supports mATX, ATX, Extended ATX, and BTX motherboards (using the optional BTX conversion kit).

The front-mount HDD cage is designed to house up to three 3.5′ HDDs and has a provision for mounting an optional 120mm cooling fan on the front.
The rear HDD cage is also designed to house up to three 3.5′ HDDs and sits right in front of the rear 92mm exhaust fan for cooling. This drive cage is also removable and is locked in position with a thumb screw.
All of the 5.25′ drive bays use tool-free plastic clamps to secure each optical drive or bay device. You simply squeeze the clamp and lift it up to disengage a drive. The clamps only engage one side of the drive and can be removed if you prefer to use screws.
The PCI expansion slots also use tool-less clamps to secure your various video cards, etc. and can also be removed if you prefer to use screws.
