Waterblock

The Thermaltake waterblock features a thick copper base and clear acrylic top, which is sealed with a large O-ring and held together with four SHCScrews.

The waterblock uses a simple serpentine channel design and includes a blue LED mounted into one corner of the acrylic top that produces a nice lighting effect.  This type of design offers only moderate performance but is well suited for a low pressure, medium flow system.

The circular base of the waterblock exhibits fine machining marks but appears to be flat.

Thermaltake includes a full assortment of mounting hardware that is designed to work with both Intel (LGA775) and AMD (K8 and AM2) processors.

Tubing

The Kandalf LCS system includes approximately 6′ (2m) of UV reactive 3/8′ ID tubing.  This should be more than enough for a typical CPU installation but you will probably need more tubing if you decide to expand the system with additional waterblocks.

Coolant

Thermaltake supplies two bottles of pre-mixed coolant (500cc each), which is more than enough to fill the system.  The coolant is primarily water and contains ethylene glycol (the toxic variety of automotive antifreeze) so keep it away from children and pets.
