Using WorldBench 5, we emulate a typical office work load and measure how long it takes to complete these tasks. These operations are generally not graphic intensive, so these results are more of a measurement of CPU, memory, and hard drive performance.

From the WorldBench results, we can see that in desktop applications the mALX does fairly well, though not as well as the Core 2 systems. The Core 2 notebooks have the advantage of dual processors which puts them ahead in multi-threaded tests like the Mozilla & Windows Media Encoder test
