Like the CPU tests on the previous page, these tests evaluate the performance of the memory modules that the vendor chose to use in their product. The Asus G2 that we are testing comes with a 2GB of DDR RAM on two SODIMMs which are clocked at 333 MHz and a 5-5-5-15 timing.

Like the CPU tests, the G2 follows a bit behind the Asus Z96J and the Asus VX1. With relaxed memory timings of 5-5-5-15, it no surprise that the faster timings on the Z96J are ahead by a little.
