Using WorldBench 5, we emulate a typical office work load and measure how long it takes to complete these tasks. These operations are generally not graphic intensive, so these results are more of a measurement of CPU, memory, and hard drive performance.

Going by the WorldBench results, we can see that the Asus G2 takes a little longer to complete desktop application tasks compared to the Z96J using a T7600 CPU and 1GB of RAM. In the multitask test (Mozilla / Windows Media Encoder), we see the Core 2 CPU giving the G2 a significant lead over the older Core system.
