Audio and Video
The speakers on the Asus G2 are really exceptional. While sitting down watching movies you really get a sense that you are really there. The large screen coupled with the great audio makes movie watching experiences more immersive. The audio quality in games is very good but don’t show off very well with little or sporatic sounds. Games with lots of ambient noise and constant sounds (like a driving game with a soundtrack) really excel on the G2.
The 17″ LCD panel on the Asus G2 is really sharp. The saturation and vividness is rich and the brightness of the display is really excellent for watching movies and playing games. The view angles aren’t poor either! You can see the G2 from extreme angles which makes it excellent for co-operative / competitive games, watching movies, or making a presentation.
