CPU Performance

We will measure the performance of the CPU using SiSoft Sandra 2007, Everest Ultimate Edition 2006, and Cinebench v9.5’s CPU rendering test. These are low-level tests which do not replicate real-world results, but offer a good standard measurement to compare CPU performance across platforms.

Keep in mind that these tests are not a measurement of total system performance, rather provides a very close look at the processor the vendor has chosen to include in this particular review sample sent to PC Perspective.

The results show that the Asus G2 is capable of more than just games and is capable of some serious floating point operation. With a CPU slightly slower than the T7600 in the Asus Z96J, the G2 comes up a little short but still does extremely well against the older Core Duo in the Dell M1710.
