Just as we saw with the initial 8600 GTS review last week, NVIDIA’s Vista drivers are having some problems with the 8600 cards and FEAR even with the latest patches. The 8600 GT can’t even come close in performance and there are some MAJOR hitching problems being seen in the game and even during the menu navigation. Interestingly, the 7600 GT card with the same drivers has none of these problems and can nearly outperform the X1650 XT card.
