Final Thoughts and Conclusions
The Koolance 1,200W liquid cooled power supply is unique! It’s big, bad, and beautiful; and features an integrated submersive cooling system. This power supply can deliver a full 1,200 watts of DC power and it can do it quietly and efficiently. Voltage regulation was very good and active PFC, modular sleeved cables, and blue LED lighting effects are icing on the cake.
On the down side, the Koolance 1,200W has a lot of AC ripple on the DC outputs at high loads and the enclosure is a little wider than most so it will not fit in some cases. Noticably missing are any 8-pin PCI-E connectors (all four of the included PCI-E cables are fitted with 6-pin connectors). And for such a unique and expensive product, I expect to see a longer warranty period.
The Koolance 1,200W liquid cooled power supply is currently available and sells for $499.00 USD, which makes the Koolance one of the most expensive power supplies on the market.
