Introduction and Features

Gentlemen, start your engines! XClio is taking flight with their new twin engine case. If you are an avid gamer or budding aeronautical engineer, the A380 offers unique styling and features that are sure to please.

When I first heard about the XClio A380 Twin Engine case I was skeptical — come on guys, you’ve got to be kidding me?  But after a thorough inspection and living with this case for several weeks, I have to admit I was wrong (like that’s never happened before…  🙂  The A380 Twin Engine Super Tower case is a very interesting blend of form and function.  Yes, the A380 comes equipped with two 250mm air turbines, which can provide excellent case ventilation to keep all the internal bits cool.  And the A380 is a large case that offers plenty of storage bays and room to work so you don’t need to worry about it flying off your desk.

First Impressions

XClio A380 Twin Engine Super Tower Case Review - Cases and Cooling 38

The A380 Twin Engine case is a large full-tower design that uses a steel chassis and sculptured plastic front bezel.  This makes the case relatively heavy but the fit and finish is above average.  The sleek lines of the front turbine housing immediately caught my attention and give the impression of a jet engine built into the front of the case.  As we will see later, the blue lighting affects are very cool and help set the A380 apart from other me-too gaming cases.
