OCZ has quickly made a name for themselves in the cooling and power market as an extension of their memory developments.
This unique CPU cooler is called the “HydroJet” and they are calling it the first completely enclosed, internal CPU cooler. It uses a uni-directional carbon fiber bottom as well as a quiet internal fan that moves air through the liquid-filled arrays.
OCZ will also be making a move into the water block business, though not with any kind of large water cooling kit.
OCZ’s recent purchase of PC Power and Cooling was big news in the world of power supplies as both companies had gained market share and enthusiast name recognition of the years. They are nearly ready with a new 1200 watt power supply with some impressive quoted specs:
1.2 kw continuous, 1.3kw peak @ 50 degrees C
+12VDC @ 90A with 100A peak single rail
Six PCIe and 15 drive connectors
We will definitely have one in-house for testing soon!
