Wedding and Reception
On Saturday June 28, 2008 Kelly Renae Barnette and Ryan Mathew Shrout were married during an outdoor ceremony at the Heritage Village Museum, Sharon Woods, Ohio. Hot-humid weather in the Midwest threatened to dampen the festivities but an early afternoon thunderstorm cooled temperatures, cleared the air, and set the stage for a beautiful ceremony.
Kelly and Ryan were escorted, attended and pampered by no less than a seventeen member wedding party. There was hardly a dry eye in the audience as Kelly tenderly brushed the tears from Ryan’s cheek as they exchanged their hand written, heart felt vows in front of family and friends.
The natural outdoor setting in Sharon Woods Park added to the beautiful ceremony.
A fabulous reception was held immediately after the wedding at the Beckett Ridge Country Club. Everyone enjoyed an evening of good friends and fine food and drink as we toasted and celebrated the happy couple, well into the night.
And yes, I was fortunate to be there too with a beautiful lady by my side as well – sure beat staying home and reviewing another power supply!
