“We’ve just posted a new article at HotHardware in which we evaluate the features, layout, overclockability and performance of MSI’s brand-new P35 Platinum motherboard for Intel LGA775-based processors. We tested the board at both 1066MHz and 1333MHz front side bus frequencies and compared its performance to an nForce 680i SLI throughout. Head on over to the site and take a look…”Here are some more Motherboard articles from around the web:

DDR2 on a P35 from MSI

The MSI P35 Platinum offers all the advantages of the P35 chipset like the 1333MHz FSB but it is built to use DDR2, saving you from paying the current premium on DDR3, assuming you can find it for sale. The passive cooling solution on this board is very unique, and may be what gives this board it’s overclocking ability. Although this is the first P35 on the market, HotHardware found it very stable and quite powerful, it will be interesting to see how this chipset performs as it matures.
