Overclocking

Overclocking the Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 processor was a simply a breeze: using the Gigabyte P35-DQ6 motherboard we were able to reach our highest overclock yet at nearly 4 GHz!

Memory speeds @ 960 MHz

My final overclock came in at 3.84 GHz – a full 44% frequency increase!  I kept our memory speeds lower in order to keep it out of the equation.  Obviously we are talking about some serious processing power here running these dual core processors at nearly 4 GHz — something I was nearly able to reach but the board wouldn’t quite make.  I don’t think the processor was holding us back though; more enthusiastic overclockers will surely reach and surpass it.

Here is a couple of SiSoft Sandra XI screenshots from the 3.84 GHz configuration — very impressive to say the least!
