Supreme Commander actually seems to LOVE the extra on-board memory of the 1GB Diamond Viper HD 2900 XT.  Not only does the average frame rate see the first noticeable increases since we started using this title for benchmarks (17% at 1600×1200) but the minimum frame rate, which affects your real world game play more dramatically even in RTS titles, are increased across the board.
