BIOS Features
ECS KN3 SLI2 features the regularly implemented Phoenix Award BIOS.
Here is the main BIOS screen and the options it presents. Very standard setup for the AM2 Phoenix Award BIOS boards.
Shown here are the Advanced BIOS Features screen and the settings within that you can adjust.
Under the advanced chipset options, many settings can be configured like CPU frequency.
DRAM configuration is another submenu under the advanced chipset options category.
Scrolling down farther in the DRAM menu, more options are revealed that can be manually set for optimum performance.
Next up is the integrated peripherals screen. Here is where you can enable and disable most of the onboard devices of the mainboard.
In the Frequency/voltage control settings, you can set the CPU multiplier and various voltages for the DRAM and CPU.
The Voltage settings for the DRAM don’t go over 2.20V, which is considered stock voltages for some DDR2. This can impact overclocking performance for some DDR2 modules.
