Final Thoughts and Conclusions

The Enermax Liberty line of power supplies from Enermax has earned a reputation for very good reliability and stable power.  The original Liberty units came out about two years ago and were recently upgraded with the addition of PCI-E 2.0 cables to make the DXX series.  Overall, the Liberty DXX 500W power supply proved to be a very good unit with clean, stable outputs and minimal noise.  The units are showing their age however when it comes to efficiency.  And as Ryan proved, the Enermax Liberty DXX 500W PSU had no problem at all powering an AMD HD 2900 XT video card.

The Enermax Liberty DXX 500W power supply is currently available with a typical street price of around $100.00 USD.
