Silverlight 1.0 will run on Linux, a move likely prompted by the lead Mono developer creating a working version of Moonlight, an open-source version of Silverlight.  It looks like .NET will be a choice for Linux users after all.  Get more on this story and if it signals a change for Microsoft at Ars Technica.
