Corsair’s new 750W PSU bears the model number TX750W, and is built by Channel Well Technology who are quite well known OEM PSU manufacturers.  [H]ard|OCP threw it into their torture chamber with some very high expectations, considering how well Corsair’s PSU have done in the past.  It turns out that while the performance was stellar in some areas, like efficiency, this PSU just didn’t have what it took to take the gold.  Still, overall they would still call it a good PSU for just about anyone.

On the other hand, if you feel you need more power than 750W can deliver, and are a fan of racing stripes, check out what Lee just finished reviewing.

“Corsair has enjoyed a reputation for over-building their computer power supplies while offering them at a price that affords the enthusiast a good value. Is their new flagship 750w unit of the same quality? An 850w PSU in sheep’s clothing?”
