At the higher 1920×1200 resolution, the HD 2900 XT is able to creep up a bit on the 8800 GTS 640MB card but the GTX model only stretched its performance lead.
The multi-GPU testing shows again that SLI is the better option as the 8800 GTX is improved by 69% with two cards and the 8800 GTS 640MB improves by more than 90%! CrossFire with a pair of HD 2900 XT cards does gain the user about 40% on the average frame rate, but again the minimum FPS issue is at hand!
